The performance of propeller at high altitude is tested by the similitude scaled model propeller testing system.
Validation of the full-scale propeller testing system has been attempted with a 4.6-m propeller model for a high-altitude vehicle both in static (V = 0 m/s) and dynamic (V = 5 m/s) cases.
A 1.0-m standard propeller model was tested through the wind tunnel to verify the scaled propeller testing system in the same operating conditions.
3.6 km is obtained by the full-scale propeller testing system, shown in Plate 2.
The propeller performance of the propeller at high altitude of 20 km is obtained by the scaled propeller testing system, shown in Figure 15.
